In recent years, due to the herbicides application the purpose of stubble cultivation is covering of seeds fall and large quantity of stubble remains instead of weed control. During the application of minimum cultivation technologies there is a large quantity of non-chopped and non-uniformly distributed straw on the field. Traditional cultivators can not cope with such quantity of organic mass on the fields, fallen cereals, stubbles of rough crops, green manures.
The DUCAT disc harrow is indispensable under such conditions. It provides intense placement of soil and plant material, especially during operations to a maximum depth of 12 cm. Design and position of working elements ensure high-quality seedbed cultivation that provides considerable expansion of application area for the compact disc harrow in agricultural production, growth of its annual utilization and economic efficiency of application.
For Ducat -12 we have developed a special system of folding side working frames, fundamentally different from the systems implemented in DLM-8 and DLM16. With the new solution, along with all the advantages of this series of units: highest performance, efficiency, adjustment to the field uneven surface, Ducat-12 is a compact machine (3m wide).
It is essential that Ducat-12 can be integrated with the most widely used tractors with the capacity of 340- 450 h.p.

Disc harrows DUCAT-8, DUCAT-16
Disc stubble plough DUCAT-8 is a compact disc harrow, with two-row disc tools, each fixed on a spring 3D tine.
Absence of disc batteries with single axis allows you to work in more humid conditions with a larger number of plant mass, while avoiding clogging of inter-disc space and winding of plant residues.
Spring 3D tine protects the bearing unit from damage (working body moves in three directions), has exceptional performance, and allows following the field microrelief, working on rocky fields, without tipping out the plough.
When moving the disc makes low-frequency vibrations allowing discs to self-clean from adhering dirt and crop residues, reducing the required power of the unit to 20%. Cutout discs with a diameter of 560 mm and a thickness of 6 mm, fixed at optimum working angles, with 250 mm distance between the discs in a row and 125 mm in plan — yield an excellent quality of work without clogging.
Double row thrust and radial bearings used in discs are protected from dust and moisture by a cassette seal. This eliminates the need of regular lubrication and adjustment of high-quality bearing units which significantly reduces maintenance costs.
The original design of the working half-frames suspension to a common frame allows you to copy the unevenness of the field, which greatly improves the quality of tillage.
Spring tines located in front of disc rows and rollers act as a regulatory body, level the soil surface, evenly distribute crop residues, and reflect shields located between the rows of discs contribute to a better crumbling of the soil and mixing it with plant residues. For an accurate tillage depth and good soil compaction we offer appropriate rollers.
Harrow special design allows to hitch two harrows together and get a working width of 16.75 m (Ducat-16)!
